In under two years the amazingingly prolific and talented 3dtorus has released 4 EPs and now 4 LPs here on Fwonk*, in addition to another 50 releases, and other side projects. Fwonk* was delighted to release the first 3dtorus EP, and now we are delighted to bring you this, the last ever 3dtorus release.

This is one solid hour of exceptional bass and beats, also featuring the talents of Jill Beaulieu of Meter Bridge on vocals and Project 2021 on guitar.

3dtorus writes: “I´m sure you´ll love this album. I want to thank you for believing in me for not less than 50 albums – for travelling this road of development all the way forward.”

“Thank you for downloading, streaming and buying my music. Thank you for giving me the confidence and self-esteem to carry on. Thank you for eventually accompanying me on my new paths.”

3dtorus will live on as Trium Circulorum and Kanal Drei.

156 / 3dtorus – Consumism

3dtorus writes: “Consumism marks my first release in 2015, I wrote it during two weeks with a heavy flu by the end of November 2014, in a strange state of mind, in a land somewhere between Codeine, Aspirin Complex, dream and wake, weak and weird.

“I think it reflects my listening habits in the second half of 2014, which were mainly instrumental hip-hop, trap, dubstep and dub – slow and heavy electronic beats, twisted synths, bass and more bass.

“The title came to my mind when I spun my usual thoughts about money and products as modern day religious artefacts and the effects of this approach on our daily lives in the western civilization. So, this album is for the transcendental entertainment which music provides, not political at all in itself but on the packaging. Enjoy!”

141 / 3dtorus: rain (on your charade)

‘Rain (On Your Charade)’ is an album with which I explored possibilities of ‘Post Techno’. It has clear elements of techno and dub and is definitely not an average dance music music album. Rather I tried to tell a story within, to take listeners on a journey and to bring them back home safe and entertained.

Although it was completely produced with software I find it to have a very analogue sound. Most important for me was to create a personal piece which includes my artistic vision of track and sound-design as well as my musical roots in techno and other music styles.

I wish you enjoy listening as I did enjoy producing.

066 / BpOlar: deep_locators

BpOlar, hailing from Antwerp in Belgium specialises in deep, deep ambient with a dub flavour. Listening to deep_locators is an aural return to the womb, only with reverb trails that last forever. Seven tracks, and nearly one hour of aural bliss.
