195 / Puppet Show – Bright Evening Haze

A fourth EP from Puppet Show following a spurt of sudden and successful music making. The EP contains 5 Lo-fi electronic music tracks blended with up-front EDM beats and looped robotic melodies.

A sincere thanks to the wonderful artist R9A for providing his amazing work as album art.

185 / Optms – Cherry

How do you like your instrumental hip-hop? Woozy, wonky and off-kilter? Phatter than your momma? Then you’re going to love Cherry by Optms. Optms lands at Fwonk* with one almighty thump, and is accompanied by a trio of remixes from our elite producers.

115 / Heskin Radiophonic: Tuomio

Heskin Radiophonic returns to Fwonk* for the first time since 2011 with Fwonk*s very first single release: two tracks of Damnation and Salvation. These tracks are full of reverb soaked ambient drones, crispy beats and ghostly pads.

105 / Kopfklang: Kammermusik & Metablues

Kopfklang returns from his leisurely cruise through Filterwunderland and gives us his own idiosyncratic electronic take on chamber music and the blues. Huge soundscapes of fat analogue synthesis wash over the listener accompanied by crispy electronic beats.

067 / Imploded View: An Exploded Few

This collection is the introductory d├ębut by Imploded View, aka Jerome McCormick. This release is not forward in going backwards with an exciting blend of experimental electronic music. Although the music here could be refered to as IDM, it’s not a term that Imploded View is comfortable with. There’s a whole manner of synth washes, retro in style for the most part, and hooks which are both catchy and un-catchy at the same time. Speed-wobbles in slow motion feature thanks to the incorporation of a 1/4 inch Reel-to-Reel tape machine in the creation process.

Please note that due to legal reasons, we have had to remove most of the tracks from this EP. We apologise to all our listeners.

063 / Tiruset: Siruxect

Electronic pulses, distorted drums gallop and barrages of fried electro beats, chilled pads and a whirl of awesome filter action. A stunning wake up call for 2011. Tiruset’s music folds in upon itself and spews itself out again, better than before.
