125 / Catrin Noise: Remember

Catrin Noise is a singer-songwriter from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She collaborates closely with Plavi Podrum on writing and producing the songs. Remember is a socially engaged song, originated in the harsh reality of an impoverished country (Bosnia) and its uncertain future. It’s a search for hope, rebellion, action, that often ends with a return to oneself. The refuge is found in the personal life. The song is written by Catrin and produced by Plavi Podrum. The remix is produced by 3dtorus.

124 / 3dtorus: one source ep

This debut EP from 3dtorus buzzes with classic analogue synthesis and acid squelches, but takes them in a very different direction. This is deep psychedelic kosmische music, the tunes evolve, diverge and reproduce, sucking the listener in. The music puts you right on the dancefloor, fully submerged in your own isolation tank.

118 / King Imagine & Illocanblo: Winter Breath

Hunkered amongst the deep Russian permafrost, comes this new split album from Illocanblo and King Imagine who previously worked together on the Peony Lantern EP on Fwonk*.

Beneath the chilly pads, and percussion that sounds like cracking ice this album seethes with a warm, nervous electric energy, like a wild creature hidden beneath the surface of a frozen lake.

106 / Puppet Show: Dynamo Cat Banjo

The third and final EP from the benevolent Irish techno smith Puppet Show has been magic’d to our media device screens! This time round the tracks are louder, noisier and more dance edged then e’er before. The EP is also a longer then e’er before with a whopping seven tracks. Why, that’s almost an entire album. Which certainly wouldn’t be possible without the wonderful co-production action from fellow Fwonk* artists Gross Prophet and Katarrhaktes.

Special thanks to Allyzia for proving the awesome cover art!

102 / Fudgedubnofunk: This Is MADNESS

To help celebrate Fwonk*s fifth anniversary, we thought we’d treat you all with a delicious outpouring of electronic delight from our regular tame synth-wrangler Fudgedubnofunk. The tracks gurgle, bleep and writhe, the beats pound.

094 / Katarrhaktes: Ascension

A regular contributor to Fwonk*, Katarrhaktes has brought us some stunning music in the past, hopping genres from harsh digital noise, through 8-bit to ambient. Here he brings all those influences together an adds a new element – epic hugeness. This EP is his most complete, accomplished and (dare I say it?) accessible to date.
