045 / Vasko The Pig: From Before Until After

Vasko’s fourth release on Fwonk* sees a him take another step towards realising the perfect marriage of noise and melody. Having spent the last two years further honing his wall-of-sound production we are presented with the most well rounded release from him yet. Never easily pigeonholed, this rather schizophrenic release might fall under such banners as Industrial Breackcore, Bitcrush Torture, Ambience, Indie and perhaps Dot-Matrix Choral. The best bet is to download it and make up your own mind!

041 / Fudgedubnofunk: Computer Music

The concept/theme that underpins the sonics of “computer music” are the sounds of the C64 and the (almost) final death throws of Fudgedubnofunk’s laptop. The tunes here amalgamate all the various styles and sounds from Fudgedubnofunk’s previous musical exploriments. So, there’s something for everyone (who likes techno, breakbeat, dnb, ambient, glitch, drones and general weirdness at least!)

037 / Inkraktare: You Have Reached Your Destination

Collected here are the first birth pangs of the collaboration between Dean Garcia (Curve, SPC ECO, KGC) and Mark Wallbridge (Vasko the Pig, Viejos Hombre de Abejon). You Have Reached Your Destination delivers huge beats and liquid dub bass mingled together with haunting ambient riffs and massively drugged out swathes of distortion and glitchery. These tracks should be experienced with no distractions, ideally while you’re on elephant tranquilizers and in a floatation tank.

033 / 2ndMouse: Levite

A second release for 2nd Mouse following the hugely popular Full Of Earth And Stars, so expect hugely entertaining beeps, bleeps, beats, squelches and sqwonks. Is sqwonks a word? It is now. 2nd Mouse’s mastery of synthery sees him bringing pretty much every VST Synthesizer to the table in a fantastic blow out of danceable tune-ageddon.

031 / Fudgedubnofunk: Release Q307a

The concept: Take a dictaphone into work and record the chatter of people sitting around you and on the phone, chop the recordings up, chuck into a Reason melting pot along with drones, noises, beats, beeps, bleeps, synths and other splurges, give the resulting tunes suitably techie work related titles … and hey-presto you have the new album by Fudgedubnofunk!
